Grip Kleen LLC, was organized on July 23, 2003 by

Dr. Paul Rawl and Dr. Scott Goode. Paul, a retired educator and excellent amateur golfer and Scott, a noted chemist at the University of South Carolina developed a product that increases grip tackiness, restoring control in a simple process that takes only seconds.

 

Grip Kleen is a patented pre-moistened towelette that renews golf grips in seconds. The patented formulation dries quickly and leaves grips tacky and ready for immediate use. In the past, golfers and their caddies cleaned grips one by one, in sinks using abrasives and chemical detergents, then let them dry over night. Now Grip Kleen has developed the chemistry needed to produce Grip Kleen towelettes which reduces the time to seconds. GripKleen towelettes are permitted under the Rules of Golf by the USGA.
